Mark 8 - What Do You See?

In Mark 8, we are presented and confronted with the reality of the disciples' position as it relates to Jesus. They are a people who constantly fail to see and embrace Jesus for who He truly is. While we are tempted to condemn them in our own minds, it would be wise to see how we trip up over the same things and, therefore, doubt Jesus all the time.

In reading the next section of Mark's gospel, we find a deep appreciation for the endless patience of Jesus and for His willingness to keep us on the journey with Him so that we might grow in our understanding and follow Him with greater clarity.
