Seeing the Savior

Does anyone have any scary ghost stories? As we continue into our next section of Mark's gospel, we are surprised to find the disciples mistaking Jesus for a ghost. It comes as a part of another familiar story from the gospel accounts, namely, the story of Jesus walking across the water.

Skeptics and doubters push back, but it is in the testimony of Jesus walking on water that we see Him do what people, historically, only spoke about God doing. Indeed, our prayer is that many eyes will be opened in response to this event, that they might comprehend just who Jesus is, as well as how He comes to deliver all who cry out to Him.
