(Matthew 6:19-34) – August 14: There’s a longtime epidemic sweeping humanity: insane amounts of anxiety. Jesus says that our insane anxiety is directly connected to our insane ambitions. Chasing after money and influence is not the way to gain peace. As far as we can tell, rest and contentment are possible…but it will require a different posture.
