MEET OUR LEAD PASTOR
Matt Horne
Pastor Matt Horne has been serving South Bay since May of 2019, having initially started as the Associate Pastor under his predecessor, Martin Hawley.
After Pastor Hawley's personal health issues forced him to step down, Pastor Matt ended up becoming the Senior/Lead Pastor in October of 2021.
Pastor Matt is a North Carolina boy, born and raised.
After graduating high school, he moved to Lynchburg, Virginia in order to attend Liberty University.
He has his degree in Pastoral Leadership with minors in Biblical Studies and Vocal Performance.
Pastor Matt is married to his wife Erin who joyfully serves alongside him in ministry.
Together, they hope to see South Bay growing steadily in the Lord and His Word.
Pastor Matt's vision is for the church to become and do everything which God and His Word says it should be,
so that our congregation might flourish and be effective in serving and evangelizing our local community.
He is committed to faithful, expository preaching and shepherding as the Pastor of this local body.
If you'd like to reach Pastor Matt, you can call the church office to set up an appointment or email him at pastormatt@sbbcli.org.
